Efigie lastimosamente mutilada de Sir Roger Hillary, manor de Bescot († 1400) y esposo de Margaret I de Audley (antes de 1351-1410/11).

Realizada en caliza, desde 1929 se encuentra en la nave sur de la iglesia parroquial de St Matthew (Walsall). La heráldica y la armadura apuntan a una fecha en torno a 1400 que concuerda con la documentación conservada sobre el difunto.

Se trata de uno de los pocos casos no gallego-portugueses de bultos durmientes anteriores a los modelos italianos de Sansovino y su círculo (véase otro, francés, en la FICHA nº 203). En Inglaterra hay algún otro yacente medieval, también mutilado, que podría haber tenido la misma postura (Sir Phillip de la Beche en la iglesia de St May Aldworth (Berkshire), FICHA nº 256).
