William Dumbar (o Dunbar, escocés nacido hacia 1460). Su obra Schir Johine the Ros, ane thing thair is compild, también conocida como The Flyting of Dumbar and Kennedie, es una justa oratoria entre dos contendientes escrita en 1504. En ella (verso 513) Walter Kennedie llama a su oponente Dunbar "Cankered Cain, tried trowan Tutivillus" [=Caín venenoso, Tutivillus truán convicto] y poco más adelante "lollard laureate" [=lolardo laureado], confirmando la asociación inglesa de Tutivillus con los herejes lolardos a la que también se hace referencia en el Iudicium de Towneley donde Tutivillus se presenta como Master lollard (véase FICHA nº 90: https://juliomontanes.synology.me/bases/textos/?-table=textos&-action=browse&-cursor=0&Numero=90).

En los Bannatyne Poems de la Biblioteca Nacional de Escocia (Adv. MS. 1.1.6) (Poema XV, The General Satire), p. 144, Dunbar utiliza la voz tutivillaris (véase JAMELSON, voz Tutivillaris, pp. 598-99).
