En el drama anónimo inglés de época isabelina titulado A new enterlude, drawen oute of the holy scripture of godly queene Hester verye necessary, newly made and imprinted..., un personaje llamado Hardy-Dardy (el Vicio), compara al herrero Perillus con un tuta villus.

La obra se imprimió en 1561 (se conserva un único ejemplar de la biblioteca de los duques de Devonshire en Chatsworth), pero se refiere a acontecimientos de 1529 y quizá sea anterior.
