Detalle de una vidriera del siglo XV (ca. 1437) en la St Martin's church in Coney Street de la ciudad de York (también conocida como St Martin le Grand). Se trata de un fragmento de la denominada St. Martin Window, donada por el vicario Robert Semer, que sobrevivió al bombardeo del templo en abril de 1942 y fue situada por George Gaze Pace en la restauración de 1961-1968 en una ventana del nuevo muro norte del transepto (hasta 1722 estuvo en la fachada occidental).

Un obispo, presumiblemente San Martín, disputa con un demonio que lleva un códice al hombro, sin duda el Libro de los pecados de la humanidad como en la escena similar de San Agustín (véanse las FICHAS nº 59, 97 y 98: https://juliomontanes.synology.me/bases/tutivillus/index.php?-action=list&-table=tutivillus&-cursor=0&-skip=0&-limit=30&-mode=find&-edit=1&Registro=59+OR+97+OR+98) [1].
